How can I automatically translate this website?

Many web browsers allow websites to be automatically translated into your preferred language. This function is particularly helpful when content is displayed in a foreign language. Below are the steps for activating automatic translation in different browsers.

Activating automatic translation

Google Chrome

Steps:

  1. Open the website in Google Chrome.

  2. Click on the small translation icon in the address bar (appears automatically when the website is in a foreign language).

  3. Select your preferred language, e.g. «German».

  4. If the icon does not appear:

    1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner → Settings →Languages.

    2. Activate the option: «Offer to translate sites into your preferred language».

Tip: you can also activate automatic translation for all future visits.

Mozilla Firefox

Steps:

  1. Open the website in Firefox.

  2. When Firefox detects that the site is in a foreign language, a translation banner will appear at the top of the address bar.

  3. Click on «Translate site» and select the preferred language.

  4. If the banner does not appear:

    1. Click on the menu in the top right corner → Settings → Language.

    2. Activate the translation options.

Microsoft Edge

Steps:

  1. Open the website in Edge.

  2. When Edge detects a foreign-language website, a translation window will automatically appear.

  3. Click on «Translate» and select your language.

  4. If this does not happen:

    1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner → Settings → Languages.

    2. Activate the option «Show translation prompt».

Safari (Mac and iOS)

Mac:

  1. Open the website in Safari.

  2. Click on the small Translate icon in the address bar (appears automatically on foreign-language sites).

  3. Select your preferred language.

iOS:

  1. Open the website on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap the aA icon to the left of the address bar.

  3. Select «Translate into English».

Opera

Steps:

  1. Open the website in Opera.

  2. Click on the Translation icon in the top right corner (if available).

  3. If the translation option is not displayed:

    1. Install the free «Google Translate» extension from the Opera Add-ons Store.

Alternative: manual translation

If automatic translation is not available, you can use online translation tools such as Google Translate or DeepL:

  1. Open translate.google. Com or deepl.com.

  2. Copy the website text and paste it into the translation tool.

  3. Choose the target language (e.g. German) and the text will be translated.

Notes

  • Data protection: please note that the translation function may transmit data to the provider (e.g. Google or Microsoft).

  • Incorrect translations: automatic translations can sometimes be inaccurate, especially with complex content.

  • Check language settings: ensure your browser is set to your preferred language to display translations correctly.
